Chef Idrissa Sidibe will be consulting on restaurant marketing opportunities. Sidibe sources fresh, local ingredients directly from Malian farms. He was born in Bamako and his family resides in the Wassoulou region. After traveling abroad and living for 10 years in the United States he moved back to Mali to launch Bamako Barbeque Chicken (BBC) and fulfill his dream of creating a restaurant that serves both a traditional and contemporary menu of locally grown foods.

Grilled meat is very popular in Bamako. Idrissa currently offers 24-hour smoked beef, barbecue chicken and goat, smoked sausage, and expand his menu to offer lamb and other products. A certified welder, Idrissa custom-build his grills and smokers.
