Communications Specialist

Erin is a recent graduate from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is responsible for a multitude of written and visual content for Common Pastures including blog posts and social media content.

Working as a student reporter, Erin pushed to uncover stories in under-served communities to bring awareness to populations that are otherwise silent in mainstream media. Showing the impact of poor accessibility for people with disabilities to investigating the rise of hate crimes in the United States, she believes sharing stories creates change for the people who need it most. At Common Pastures she hopes to share the unique stories that take place between the intersection of agriculture and sustainability. Erin currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota working as a communications intern at PACER Center for children with disabilities along with being a social media contributor for, I Am Tucson.
